When I created this site in October of 2006, social networking was a pretty new concept. MySpace ruled the scene and Facebook was nary a glimmer in Mr. Zuckerberg's eye. Our site took off quickly and I am very proud of each and every one of you who used the site to connect with each other and find work in the film, tv and commercial industries. You created a wonderful and vibrant community.
It is with great regret that I must inform you that Crewster has reached the end of its story. But as each of your stories continue, I hope that you will will look back fondly on the time you spent here. I certainly enjoyed seeing all of you use the site to find work, share pictures and connect with each other.
As originally promised when you created your account, we never shared any of your information with third parties. We are proud to keep this promise even as this site closes. If you posted something on the site that you need to get back, please and we'll do everything we can to help you. All of the data will be stored off-line for a short time to accommodate any requests and will then be permamently deleted.
As this venture fades into the sunset, I hope that you'll all take the opportunity to come see what we're doing at my new site ThinkCrew.com. There you will find all sort of new digitial tools and software that are designed to make your life in the industry an easier place.
Best of luck to each and every one of you in your future endeavors and I hope that our paths cross again in the future.
All my warmest wishes,
Michael R. Williams
